This picture was taken at the end of May 1960 during a clandestine visit to Feydhoo.  All the islands in the Atoll except for Gan and a very small part of Hithadhoo were “Out of Bounds” for all RAF personnel. The visit was as the result of a personal invitation by the number three Maldivian man on Feydhoo, who worked on Gan during the day, to visit his house.  It was late in the day and these Feydhoo men were bringing home some local produce.
